Da frohlocken Widgetfans allerorten: Bei Widgetbox lässt sich nun jede Seite mit RSS-Feed (bzw. jedes Blog) schnell und einfach in ein Widget ("Blidget") verwandeln und für andere verfügbar machen.
Damit ist es zwar nicht das erste Tool dieser Art, aber eines, das die Idee für jeden umsetzbar macht: Man gibt einfach die Webadresse (nicht das Feed!) einer Seite an und konfiguriert sich dann auf Basis der automatisch gezogenen Textinhalte, Fotos, etc. sein Widget.

"Die Nutzer ihre Widgets möglichst einfach selber erstellen lassen" dürfte neben den zunehmenden Interaktionsmöglichkeiten eines der zentralen Widgetthemen dieses Jahres sein.
Und Widgetverzeichnisse wie Widgetbox oder Snipperoo bzw. persönliche Startseiten wie Pageflakes übernehmen hier gerade eine Vorreiterrolle.
